Hobo Purses - What Are They Really?

Well, I found out by looking around online, that there are many styles such as bag hobos, hobo totes, suede hobos and hobo purses for over the shoulder wear. The definition of a hobo bag is one that is made out of a pliable material, such as leather, and that is shaped like a crescent moon and sort of slouches when you lay it down. That is about the sum of it.

The quality, however, is truly a different thing. You can buy one out of the back of a pick-up truck with a label that looks like someone sewed it in backwards and just KNOW this is not an authentic leather designer handbag in the black hobo design you had hoped for.

There's an old Latin term "caveat emptor" meaning buyer BEWARE~! And this is true today.
